Francis and tattoos

‘Hey your tattoos look interesting, let’s dialogue!’

“And one, a seminarian from Ukraine, asked about tattoos.

Yulian Vendzilovych, a seminarian at Holy Spirit Seminary in Lviv, asked the pope how a young priest is to judge which parts of modern culture are good and which are not. He used the example of tattoos, which many young people believe "express true beauty," he said.

"Don't be afraid of tattoos," the pope responded, noting that for centuries Eritrean Christians and others have gotten tattoos of the cross.

"Of course, there can be exaggerations," the pope said. But a tattoo "is a sign of belonging," and asking a young person about his or her tattoos can be a great place to begin a dialogue about priorities, values, belonging, "and then you can approach the culture of the young."”

‘Pope Francis talks tech, sex and tattoos with young adults’, America: The Jesuit Review Magazine, (19 March 2018)

She isn’t exaggerating, her tattoos and sign say it all.

Why does Francis insists so strongly that Islam is peaceful?

“If the world hate you, know ye that it hath hated me before you. If you had been of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.”

After meeting with Talmudic rabbis, Francis most popular guests are imams and Islamicists.  Every time he meets with one of the Moslems he says something along the lines of how peaceful the Moslem ‘religion’ is.  Francis had a private audience with Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen this past Friday.  The statement which has come out is no exception.

The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al Othaimeen met with His Holiness Pope Francis at the Vatican today, Friday, 16 March 2018.
During the meeting both sides emphasized the importance of interfaith dialogue and raising the voice of wisdom and tolerance to combat extremism and terrorism. The Secretary General emphasized to His Holiness that terrorism has no religion, and that OIC condemns all terrorist acts coming from any religion.
Al Othaimeen presented his thanks to the Pope for his stand on the issue of Al Quds [Jerusalem] and the basic rights of the Muslims and Christians in the holy city. Both sides were in agreement on the cause of Palestine and Al Quds [Jerusalem].
Al Othaimeen also appreciated the position of the Pope on many issues such as promoting human rights and migration, expressing his thanks to Pope Francis for his position on the Rohingya Muslims and their rights. The Pope from his side expressed his support to the basic rights of the Rohingya, adding that their suffering has been going on for a long time, and he thanked neighboring countries, specially Bangladesh for hosting them.
The Pope also appreciated OIC’s position against terrorism, and stressed that there is no link between Islam and terrorism.
The Secretary General also met with His Eminence the Secretary of State of the Vatican Pietro Parolin. They discussed cooperation and importance of dialogue between both sides and continuous contact.

‘OIC Secretary General Discusses with Pope Francis Terrorism, Rohingya and Quds Issues’, Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, (16 March 2018)

Here we have a representative of the Moslems thanking Francis for his stand on Jerusalem.  Francis said of Jerusalem, “I wish to make a heartfelt appeal to ensure that everyone is committed to respecting the status quo...”  The status quo is the de-Christianization of Jerusalem and Israel.  Why would Francis also stress,“that there is no link between Islam and terrorism”?  The answer is a fairly simple one, Francis serves the machinations of the rabbis — therefore Islam is acceptable since it’s the fulfillment of the Noahide Laws — Christianity is considered Avodah Zarah (idol worship) and worthy of death.   Hence, Moslems are given a free pass and Catholics who profess the Faith are condemned.  Francis’ rabbinical buddies do not want non-Jews to covert to Talmudic Judaism instead the Talmudists want the non-Jews to convert to one of the acceptable forms of servile Noahidism.  So now you know why Franis insists that Islam is peaceful.

the new evangelization — first communion

“Steven, you are supposed to eat it!”

The death rattle of the Novus Ordo Missae.

‘Disorderly, confused, omnipotent, and charismatic’ Francis compares similarly to the vindictive abuser, Marcial Maciel

video source: Gloria.TV News, A Very Interesting Analysis of Pope Francis’ Personality, 15 March 2018

First of all, the doubt has been removed that Bergoglio may speak in a disorderly way only in Italian but not in Spanish, the language that is most natural to him.

We have received messages from Argentina:

“Even in Spanish Francis is rather disorderly when he improvises, although perhaps a bit less than in Italian.

And from Spain:

“He is disorderly and confused even when he speaks in Spanish. Sometimes he does not finish his sentences. He uses many expressions typical of Argentina, excessively local and informal.”

Having established this, an Italian reader has gone to the heart of the matter like this:

“I believe that Bergoglio’s disorderly and sloppy improvisation is intentional. His jumping from tangent to tangent makes it difficult for the interlocutor to come to grips with anything. This is the case, for example, of the inflight interviews, which he constructs and measures with undoubted political and manipulative skill. A skill that however in the end turns out to be to be short-lived, at least when the journalist presses him.

“As for his recent autobiographical account, the fact that he describes as an age of 'omnipotence' the period in which he was a superior makes one think. It reveals an affective approach to power that turns out to be problematic to say the least. The periods that he calls ‘dark’ in his life are in practice those in which he has no position of authority.”

Also from Italy:

“From an overall perspective, I would say this. There is in Bergoglio the typically Jesuit formative-cultural element, oriented more to the image than to the concept, heightened by a personality that seeks impact rather than real sharing - in keeping with his authoritarianism - all supported by a very acute psychological penetration.

"However, the way in which he has recounted his life reveals a basic ambivalence. That which is the exercise of a power of suggestion and of impression is, at the same time, the expression of an unresolved, fragile personality, with pockets of poorly digested rancor. His political and psychological skills allow him to manage this instability socially. But the result is not constructive. I think that with Pope Francis it may never be possible to define in a clear and crisp manner - and even he does not know this - how much in him is the calculated exercise of a consciously destabilizing power, aimed at setting 'processes' in motion, and how much is the expression of a personality like his own, unstable and thirsty for compensation."

And finally, for now:

“In many ways Bergoglio reminds me of Marcial Maciel, the charismatic founder of the Legionaries of Christ. He too, the pope, must be deciphered from a psychological rather than a theological point of view. I am convinced that part of his secret lies in his family of origin, of which, on balance, we know very little and about which he himself says little and in an evasive manner. I am struck, among other things, by the figure of his sister, Maria Elena [in the photo], with that homeless look and oddball mannerisms.

Both Bergoglio and Maciel have, had in common a strong personality, charismatic, but with that surface charisma proper to unstable personalities. Both are, were allergic to going deeper, to intellectual work. Both are, were masters of the art of dissimulation and with a special intuition in grasping the vulnerable points of interlocutors and bending them to themselves. Both with a mental energy out of the ordinary. Both implacable and vindictive towards the enemies, when these are weaker than they.”

Transforming sins into merits

“Reish Lakish said: “Great is ◊™◊©◊ē◊Ď◊Ē (repentance) because it transforms ◊Ė◊ď◊ē◊†◊ē◊™ (premeditated sins) into ◊©◊í◊í◊ē◊™ (inadvertent transgressions)”. Oh Really? Didn’t he also say? “Great is ◊™◊©◊ē◊Ď◊Ē  (repentance) because it transforms premeditated sins into ◊Ė◊õ◊ē◊ô◊ē◊™ (merits)”? There is no contradiction. The first one refers to “Teshuva Meyir’ah” (out of fear of G-d), the other refers to “Teshuva Me’ahava” (out of love for G-d)...the other statement of Reish Lakish is pretty puzzling. How can it be that every sin turns into a Mitzva? One can have life of unlimited hedonism, sins and transgressions, and yet, all of the sudden, by doing this ultimate Teshuva, every single sin is considered as a Mitzva. What is the sense of that?...Rabbi Yoseph Dov Soloveitchik discusses this matter in “Al HaTeshuvah.”...In this kind of Teshuva, one does not return but rather continues. Instead of suffocating the fire and desires of the sins, one can uplift and elevate them. Behind every sin there is much negative energy, which was invested in the sin. Sometimes that energy is stronger than the positive energies, which we put in the Mitzvot. The sinner can try to channel and convert that negative energy to Kedusha (sanctity). With the same passion one used to hate, envy and covet, he can now perform the Mitzvot. The evil of transgressions can be transformed into a powerful and steady catalyst for learning Torah [Talmud]. His Torah [Talmud] will be more “juicy” because the strong energies of sin will be now part of his Torah [Talmud]. In that sense, retroactively, every single sin is considered to be a Mitzva because now one knows how to redirect the sinful energy. This method requires one to remember his sins. When a person does Teshuvah, it can bring him closer to Hashem [the Name], more than he ever dreamt...If we are able to do “Teshuva Me’ahava”, we can transform every sin to a merit, as Rabbi Yochanan told Reish Lakish while trying to be Mekarev (reach out to) him : “Your strength should be devoted to Torah [Talmud].” (Bava Metzia 84a) — Rabbi Ronen Neuwirth

Francis the poor victim pope

“He is calm. To confront this, he uses the Jesuit spirit and the third degree of asceticism: that of being indifferent to some things. But he is a human being, so he also suffers. Some critics, besides being gratuitous, reach the core of one's being. Like him betraying Church doctrine... this is not true. He does not accept this and it is the most serious accusation that one can receive.”— MSGR. ANGELO BECCIU, Substitute, Vatican Secretariat of State

Francis the movie star — new film by avant-garde director released on the fifth anniversary of Francis’ pontificate

Pope Francis – A Man of His Word (a Wim Wenders’ film)

Michael Matt on Wim Wenders

“I had the highest regard for Pope Francis before I ever met him, just from seeing him on television and from reading his sermons or his encyclicals. But meeting him eye to eye, and then also seeing and hearing him every day in the editing room, not only in our own interviews, but also his many talks all over the world, to refugees, prisoners, politicians, scientists, children, rich or poor or regular people, made me realize how courageous he was, how fearless. And that would be my wish: that he never loses that relentless courage. Whenever he left our set, the last thing he said was: “Pray for me!” And that wasn’t just his way of saying good-bye, he meant it. And I’ve heard him ask the same from people all over the word. So that would be my other wish: that he is carried by all those prayers for him, from all these people (including my little film crew) for whom he represents a man whose word we can trust in. That has become such a rare and precious thing today: a man who is not acting for himself, but for the common good.” — Wim Wenders

Francis’ theology is Benedict XVI’s theology

“I applaud this initiative,” writes Pope Benedict. “It contradicts the foolish prejudice of those who see Pope Francis as someone who lacks a particular theological and philosophical formation, while I would have been solely a theorist of theology with little understanding of the concrete lives of today’s Christian.

The Pope Emeritus writes that he is grateful to have received the set of 11 books edited by Roberto Repole, President of the Italian Theological Association. Pope Benedict XVI adds that these volumes “reasonably demonstrate that Pope Francis is a man with profound philosophical and theological formation and are helpful to see the interior continuity between the two pontificates, even with all the differences in style and temperament.”

The text of Benedict XVI’s letter
Benedictus XVI
Papa Emeritus Signore
Mons. Dario Edoardo Viganò
Prefetto della
Segreteria per la Comunicazione

Città del Vaticano
7 febbraio 2018
Reverendissimo Monsignore,
I thank you for your courteous letter of January 12 and for the attached gift of the eleven small volumes edited by Roberto Repole.
I applaud this initiative which is intended to oppose and react to the foolish prejudice according to which Pope Francis would be only a practical man devoid of particular theological or philosophical formation, while I would be solely a theoretician of theology who could understand little of the concrete life of a Christian today.
The little volumes demonstrate, rightly so, that Pope Francis is a man of profound philosophical and theological formation, and they therefore help in seeing the interior continuity between the two pontificates, albeit with all the differences of style and temperament. Nonetheless, I do not feel that I can write a brief and dense theological page about them because for my whole life it has always been clear that I would write and express myself only on books that I had also truly read. Unfortunately, even if only for physical reasons, I am not able to read the eleven little volumes in the near future, all the more so in that I am under other obligations to which I have already agreed.
I am sure that you will understand, and I extend to you my cordial greeting.

And what exactly has Francis been ‘discerning’?

There is poison in the mother but her milk is pure?

Are Taylor Marshall’s teachings part of the poison?

Like Cardinal Burke, Taylor Marshall is a promoter of the Association of Hebrew Catholics.

The Crucified Rabbi: Judaism & the Origins of Catholic
Christianity by Taylor R. Marshall (2009) epub edition.

Dr. Marshall correctly states the fact that Talmudic Judaism and the faith
of the Israelites in the Old Testament are not the same. (p. 33)

Here, Taylor Marshall explains that the Old Covenant was once salvific (p. 34) which is contrary to the Gospels, “For if justice be by the law, then Christ died in vain.” (Galatians 2, 21).  Isn’t Marshall’s position a form of Protestant Dispensationalism?

Dr. Marshall finds Talmudic statements, which condemn Gentiles, acceptable and in the next breathe says that as long as Gentiles are not cruel idolators [i.e. worshipers Jesus the Christ] they have a place in the world to come [where they will inherit hell]. (p. 227)

Just what type of milk is Taylor Marshall imbibing if he spouts-off the un-Catholic garbage above?

Italian bishops’ newspaper — Avvenire, publishes another blasphemous cartoon

Sergio Staino drawing a cartoon.

The Avvenire, a Roman Catholic newspaper published in Milan, Italy, has an ongoing cartoon, la domenica di Staino, which depicts the life of Our Lord Jesus the Christ.  La domenica di Staino translates into English as the Sunday of Staino.  The Staino in question is one Sergio Staino the cartoonist and writer responsible for the comic strip.  Often times the strip is sacrilegious and blasphemous but this particular cartoon of was so terrible we at Call Me Jorge... had to comment on it.  Not surprisingly, Mr. Staino is a card-carrying member of the Union of Rationalist Atheists and Agnostics.  Keep in mind that this paper is owned by Italian Episcopal Conference, so it is de facto the official mouthpiece of Italy’s bishops.

— English translation —
Jesus: Oh, hi Magdalena!

Mary Magdalene: How do you like it? …Isn’t my headdress nice?

Jesus: Oh my God, let me say yes… Say yes! …Say yes!

Mary Magdalene:  Well?

Jesus: It’s horrible!

Mary Magdalene: [SLAP!!]

Jesus: Father, Father… Why am I condemned to always have to tell the truth?

The whole vignette above sows heresy. The cartoon portrays Jesus and Mary Magdalene as husband and wife having a marital spat.  What happened to the Chasity of Our Lord?  Why would Mary Magdalene slap her Savior?  Why would Jesus question His Father?  Why is Christ reduced to the role of a cuckold with a vain and overbearing wife?  This particular cartoon not only mocks Our Lord but also profanes Him as it inverts and perverts the story of Mary Magdalene.

We imagine that if Francis saw this cartoon, he would laugh heartily, thinking it good fun along with the bishops responsible for its printing.  After all, Francis not only relishes telling blasphemous jokes about Our Lord, he loves doing this.  That this strip was published by the official organ of the Italian bishops should send chills down those who believe the Novus Ordo is Catholic.

Catholics the world over await with bated breath Francis’ rumored encyclical

Andrea Gagliarducci writes in his article, Pope Francis, how are his reforms proceeding?,
“In the offing, it also seems the Pope is going to write a new document, perhaps an encyclical, on spirituality in the modern world, with a strong accent against neo-pelagianism.”
Francis use of the terms neopelagianism and neopelagians are an inversion of the original meaning of the words.  This is in the same manner as those of the homosexual perversion who have taken the word gay — a person who is happy, merry, full of cheer — and inverted its meaning — one who practices the mortally sinful perversion of homosexuality. What Francis means when he uses neopelagian is one who adheres to traditional Catholic dogmas, doctrines and customs before the Second Vatican Council.  Here’s the definition of Pelagianism as understood by everyone but Francis and his cronies:

In fact, Francis is guilty of the crimes that he accuses neopelagians being guilty of!  Francis’ beliefs are similar to Pelagianism but with a diabolical twist.

source: Will and Grace: Aspects of Judaising in Pelagianism in Light of Rabbinic and Patristic Exegesis of Genesis by Burton L Visotzky published in The Exegetical Encounter Between Jews and Christians in Late Antiquity, p. 45

Francis’ twist which makes him a neopelagian and not simply a Pelagian is that Francis does believe in Grace.  Francis perverse belief is that Grace comes from sin!  This belief is straight out of Hasidism and one of its central tenets.  This Hasidic process of sinning on order to come closer to God is explained in the post, Where Francis' doctrine originates, and recently Francis catchecized his fellow Jesuit on how Sin leads one to Grace when he was in Peru, La Civilt√† Cattolica, “Where have our people been creative?”.

We were being facetious with the title of this blog post when stating that Catholic were waiting with bated breath over this rumored encyclical.  Will Catholics ever awaken from their deep slumber if and when this rumored encyclical is released or will they continue to blissfully continue to sleep in the pews as Francis and his cronies process them into faithful noahides?

These woman are not neopelagians.  You can tell as they are not
wearing veils but those sleeping men, they are wearing suits...

Cardinal Tobin sends his love to baby — whomever baby is

“NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — A New Jersey archbishop raised a few eyebrows when he tweeted "Nighty-night, baby. I love you," but his spokesman says it was an errant message intended for his sister.
Cardinal Joseph Tobin's spokesman says the leader of the Newark Roman Catholic archdiocese later deleted Wednesday's tweet because it was being misinterpreted.
Spokesman Jim Goodness says Tobin has eight younger sisters and "they're all his baby sisters." Goodness said he doesn't know how the siblings were communicating before the message was tweeted out. Tobin's Twitter account shows he tweets infrequently.”

Cardinal Tobin, who Steven D. Greydanus recently had the pleasure of sitting next to, has said of women in the church, “Maybe my theology isn’t sophisticated enough, but I don’t believe that there’s a compelling theological reason why the Pope couldn’t name a woman cardinal.”
